hhmmm.... Why?
Actually are Japan, Europe, Taiwan, China (the main e-bike-market´s in the world) here on the same page and they are willing to set international rules for ebike at the moment. The US can do what they want but I think it would be better talk together and find rule´s that...
I´m in China at the moment and today is the first day the workers return to work and start to dispatch the goods. I´m guessing it will take to middle of next week before everything runs smoothly. The last ten days even a big City like Guangzhou was a Ghost-City. Half of the polpulation has left...
I also don´t like the rebranding but on the other hand I belief that TDCM has no interest to be known from everybody. All the people on a need to know about e-bike Motors know TDCM and that´s enough for them, they don´t have any interest to answer question´s from consumers.
And if the public...
on a folder it is easier to have a dropout like this from "bernd´s" bicycle. they are one of the best folder´s that I know about and with this dropout you don´t need to build a complicated frame with lock inside.
btw, this is an e-bike with two very small motors on the front-rim legal 250Watt...
I would say that paula should join the thread and give more details because at the moment there is not so much to go on.
Beltdrive is a bit difficult because you need a frame that you can open and close or you need to a dropout like Riese&Müller use.
Anyhow more information of this project is...
there are two different problems for eurobike,
1) Eurobike is much to big with the consumer, as you know it is with distance the biggest Bicycle show in the world and it simply to big. The manufacturer say we only need max three days, five days is not efficient for us and we get bored by...
I would suggest to think about the new Heinzmann Cargo DD with 100nm torque peak. It is a special development for Cargo-Bikes. The motor is geared but without freewheel so it can use regen

the anti-dumping issue belongs to bicycle and not to ebike and of course not for ebike Motor.
e-bike motor like the one you´ve ordered is 4,5% tax usualy depends a bit on the officer because sometime they choose 6,5% (don´t know why) but for this two percent don´t need to fight for it´s wastet...
Hello Tyler,
I think it dosen´t matter which bike you choose because both bikes are good and have the same level. In my opinion Haibike is always a bit to expensive but I like the design.
If you like to drive fast and have hills in your area then take the Focus with big battery.
Btw, 250Watt...
there´re several dealers who offers conversion-kit for Bafang-middrive into Fatbike-Middrive. some dealers are located in the US and me in China.
Bafang offers also rear hub´s for 170mm drop-out and 190mm drop-out from 250Watt up to 500Watt with different rpm. So for every bike-idea you can find...

Haibike is a very good e-bike maybe a bit overprized but very nice.
Of course you can ride the bbs with higher output but if you really want ride a bicycle that give´s you the feeling to ride a electric supportet bicycle and not a motorbike then buy the Haibike.
In compare to Bosch or Yamaha...
