Yeah, thanks E-HP & amberwolf, I think you are firming up my suspicions, and moreso that it's an overall battery sag. It's a stutter and occasion momentary cutout & has (so far) only happened dragging my fat chops up a steep hill when nearing the last of the battery charge, I'm a bit concerned...

Cheers, the sample bike was $645US to ship, which added around 50% to the cost. I can't imagine needing more than 15/20 but they still appear much cheaper by slow boat.

You can still organise a large batch by sea freight but yeah, my order bumped around europe before going missing altogether. I'm sure it took a lot more of my time and effort than the vendors to chase up.. before applying for a refund.

There's a big difference between 2.8 and 4+, especially at adequate fat bike road pressures. And if knobbies especially, they tend to grab and squirm over ridges rather than get railed by them (to a point)

I had a similar design and that newer grin(?)torque arm you got on my Norco. Managed to fit it under the chainstay on the drive side. You might consider exiting the battery wire to the rear and bringing it around in a loop (to make room for the TA and so it doesn't funnel water into the hub)/

Fat Tyres? I find them much more forgiving. They allow you to look around a bit and squirm over the ruts. Life saver in Yellowstone.

Without a display? I want to try PAS only, without throttle or display. But PAS is horrible. It takes off to quick and sudden, it took off when I was sitting idle and put too much pressure on the pedal.. with the handlebars at too much angle, and threw me hard past the bars... and it keeps...
