When I power up I get code 3 error on my neo 650b. I've cked the connections and my local bike guy says torgue sensor is dead and can't find one. Is there a replacement part available somewhere? I have some mechanical skill and I really hate to scrap the bike. Appreciate some guidance.
Thanks, Ken

What does the manual say the error code is for?

What torque sensor does this bike use?

What specifically happened before the problem started?

The bike uses a Dapu motor system.

But I don't know, if the recent products are still compatible to your quite old model.

I found this manual, error 3 means failure on TMM sensor.
The TMM4 sensor for the rear dropout is easily available as a spare part.

Check that the connection between the TMM sensor and the controller is correct. Check to see if the output of the TMM sensor exceeds the normal range, it must be 0.1V-3.5V.

code 3 is for TMM sensor looks like torque sensor TMM 2.0 P125 or V2 P125 Haven't found a source . I have it out and liking of cleaning it with electrical cleaner, unless bad idea? Over past 500 mi. it's given that code and I would ck all connections I could find and it would come to life. But sometimes once you stop pedaling the assist would continue till brake applied. Release brake and assist came right back on. I would repower a few times and it seemed to get back to normal. Now just a code 3.

Here is a repair manual, perhaps it helps.

I found this source in Switzerland. Can it be the right one?

BH Bikes has it's own area in the German Forum, guys from BH are writing there directly. Perhaps you can ask there:

Normally when handling/moving wiring corrects a problem, even momentarily, there is a wiring or connector fault, almost always at the entrance or exit to a connector shell or device housing, but can be anywhere from inside the devices at the PCB connections to any of the wiring or connections between them.

So you can probably fix the one you have if you are willing to test the wiring between TS and whatever it plugs into (controller, etc).

A continuity check of the wiring from one end to the other would show any completely-open circuits, then you just have to find the break. Sometimes there is obvious damage or wear or other signs on the cable jacket itself at or near the point of failure.

Given the specific failure, I'd guess the ground wire on the sensor is the problem, since a ground failure may drive the output voltage to full (this happens on throttles with broken grounds, too).

Thanks for all the support,
Anyone know of any shops here in the US that supports Easy Motion Bikes?
It's been a fun bike , but wondering what lies ahead going forward??
