    Those square devices look epoxy dipped, one might guess thermistor, but I have never seen one in that shape. Screams ceramic capicitor, but I doubt that.. or maybe they are ceramics used for noise suppression if the BMS is vulnerable to trash from the controller.

    Stuck back at work for the moment, I'm gonna bet I will find a filter cap blown open or maybe an output transister but the charger was still "lit" so I am betting cap, we shall see when I return to diagnose. Any takers for a transistor?

    Although a bit more cumbersom to connect and manage due to the "extra" part, (fuse) a thread together fuse holder(s) is a fairly secure alternative. An added bonus is an extra measure of fire safety.

    Yes, the sense wire was the cause of the 0 output, however, chasing the problem showed their was a bad cell in the pack also ... so given its brand spanking new it seems reasonable that Ping tries again.
