    Problem with PAS

Based on the length of the cable in the photo, you likely will trace it all the way to the controller which from photos of the bike, may be located under the seat. https://v8fatbike.com/product/ouxi-v8-hydraulic-brakes/ By the way, PAS should always stop assisting when pulling the brake lever...

    Problem with PAS

Most likely there are cutoffs, since it’s a factory bike with PAS. Plus the replacement brake levers on their site clearly have cutoffs. I would unplug those while troubleshooting, as suggested, since it sounds like it could be the issue.

Leaf / leafmotor / leafbike high efficiency 1500w motor

The BBSHD will go nice and slow up hills. They cruise nicely on the flats, but then need to downshift for steep hills, at which point they become a dot in my rear view mirror. If you have a slow technical climb, the BBSHD would be superior.

    2 48v batteries to 72v

Well that certainly reinforces the case for the 96v controller solution in order to save money, weight, and space, as well as being more efficient. 👍

    Rad Power Headlight

The voltage range would need to cover a fully charged 13S pack, so more than 54.6V. However, a popular upgrade for some of the RAD bikes listed under compatibility, is upgrading to 14S (52V nominal), which charges to 58,8V, and I haven't heard of headlights burning out, so it's probably safe...

Velocifero Mad Air 250W: Someone that knows how to lift the speed limiter?

I’m guessing that the 250W version is exported to countries with a lower legal speed limit, so the display firmware is locked down. Where did you buy it, and what is the legal speed limit for e-scooters where you live?

    What are my options?

Yes. I searched "how many cells in a Reention EEL Pro case?" So at 48V, that's 4P. At 36V, the case could hold 5P (50 cells), with 2 unused spots. Sorry, I wasn't referring to your first post. I looked at the link you provided for the 14 Ah battery you found. Anyway, just get a controller...

    Torque-sensing AND Cadence-sensing — an idea

To tell you the truth, I barely use PAS anymore and just pedal with throttle. I probably would use it more if the Grin digital buttons weren't so crappy. I don't think they could have made them worse. Tiny, super hard to press, and no feedback that you've actually made contact because you're...

250w geared hub for 150mm drop out

https://www.bafang-e.com/en/oem-area/components/component/motor/rm-g370250dc 148mm dropout, plus the couple of washers that need to be inside the dropout gets you to 150mm.

    What are my options?

If the chart and the battery pack descriptions and footnotes are correct, then the pack contains 13S4P of Samsung or LG cells (the case holds 52 cells, so 52/13 = 4 parallel groups. For 4P and 14Ah, each cell would have a capacity of 3500mAh, so the common cells used by Samsung and LG are the...

    Torque-sensing AND Cadence-sensing — an idea

Depends on what you want. When I use PAS, I use the cadence power adjustment so when I downshiftt for a steep hill and my cadence increases, the assist ramps up due to the increased cadence so in the end I supply the same pedaling effort as on flat ground but when going up a hill. There a...

    What are my options?

A few of the parameters like gear ratio are used to determine the speed (calibrate the speedo), however, on geared motor, a lot will have a built in speed sensor. If you motor connector is a single connector with 3 large pins and several small ones, then count the number of small pins. For the...
