    Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

Mine was snappy with my mini-e but I was also running a 20" wheel. I recommend working on tuning a little more.

    Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

Thanks, striker. It looks like I'm not the only one having this problem. I remembered that you could disable charging through the menu so that's what I did. I also have the on/off switch on my Max-E, so that should work as well, but I won't know until I wire in a switch (on/off wires come from...

    Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

I'm having a problem where I can't exit charge mode on my Max-E. With my Mini-E I just hit down to exit after turning off the power supply but my Max-E stays in charge mode. The down button works in other screens, just not to exit charge mode when I'm done charging. I can disconnect power after...

Mxus or Cro witch is best for regen?

I have the MXUS3000 3T "Fast Wind" motor in a 20" wheel... I have so much torque available that the bike is almost scary. Also, regen is very powerful as well, which is easily setup in the Max-E controller. For the price, I'd say the MXUS 3T motor can't be beat. I cruise at 45mph (on a closed...

    Good hub for 20mm Thru-Axle?

I'm looking to build a couple of front wheels that need to have 20mm Thru-Axles (TAs). I bought a Hope Pro 2 EVO hub for one of the wheels and am trying to decide if I want to try a cheaper hub for the other wheel. So my question is, what experience do you guys have with front hubs that are...

    GiantEV's Vector

No, I used sine wave for autodetect. I also ran autodetect twice, which can help sometimes, but all that did was get me close. I changed the settings to what I was running on my Mini-E and the Max-E is running much better. I still think there is some room for improvement in the tuning though.

Thanks guys! I need to tune my Max-E a little, but it still pulls hard with just the autodetect.

    GiantEV's A2B Metro with Adaptto Mini-E

I bought a Vector frame and moved most of the components from the Metro over to the Vector, so I'm retiring the Metro. Here is my new Vector build thread: http://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=69482

    GiantEV's Vector

Here is my new build... - Vector frame - MXUS3000 3T motor in 20"/16" wheel - Adaptto Max-E Controller + BMS + PAS + ON/OFF + 30A coil - (20) Turnigy 4s Hardcase Batteries in 20S4P configuration (20Ah) I got it running today and took it for a ride, but still have some work left to finish the...

    Vector bike and frame owners.

Are you using spacers? How are you routing the rear brake line through the frame? I'm mostly concerned with how it enters the front of the frame since there is a hole at the rear of the frame already.

19" Motorcycle Wheels vs 26" Bicycle Wheels (rim and tires)

Ok, John, I'm holding you to it! Did you make any progress? If so, when will they be for sale? I was planning on sending out my wheel to be built, but I still have this strong desire to attempt a wheel build myself. I already bought a Hope Pro 2 EVO 20mmTA hub and a ProWheels 19x1.4" 36H rim...

Looking good. I'm looking forward to your report on how well it rides.

Looking good.... that's a lot of lipo! In this picture from the Vector thread the batteries are stacked upright, but there's a lot of wasted space at the top. Figuring out the best way to stack and secure the batteries is all part of the fun of building an ebike I guess.

    Moonshine's Vector/MXUS/MaxE Build

I wouldn't say it's worse. I just thought you were concerned about the angle of the fork. With a smaller rear shock that will lower the rear of the bike and increase the head tube angle. My bike is going to be the same way, since I'll have a 16" moped wheel in the back and 19" wheel up front...

    Moonshine's Vector/MXUS/MaxE Build

Yes, the angle looks aggressive, especially compared to a Vector with a smaller fork. I fear a shorter rear shock may accentuate this even more.

    Moonshine's Vector/MXUS/MaxE Build

I ruined a bottom bracket once by not tightening the crank bolts enough, so I'd definitely recommend buying a beam style torque wrench. You should be fine with a cheap one from an auto parts store. The beam type in this video are pretty cheap and work well: w-mutvqhZZ4

First build - Vector (e-kross) frame

It looks like the chainring is mounted on the wrong side of the crank arm. That should move it over and help a bit.

    Vector bike and frame owners.

I went with the Turnigy 4s hardcase packs as well. I'd like to use 18650 cells, but the Turnigy packs are cheap and easy to wire up to the Adaptto BMS. I only have 20 packs now, but I'd like to bump my pack size up to 25, or even 30 packs if they will fit! Routybouty, I'd like to see pictures...

New Mexico MVD - Other "Vehicles"

I am building a new ebike using the same MXUS 3T motor that I have used to reach 45mph+ on my current ebike. I want to use this new bike to get to work via a route which includes a stretch of road that has no bike lane and a speed limit of 35mph (although the traffic on that stretch typically...
