BionX: how to access bad strain gauge sensor?

What I also notice in the BBI is that the motor parameter v12v is only 5.6V, while on a good motor it is rather close to 12V. I have a second motor with a train gauge issue (probably detached?) and v12v is 9.6V. Any ideas?

BionX: how to access bad strain gauge sensor?

Hi bikemikem, I've seen your 2019 post about running without a sensor, "cruise control" like. I have tried the same thing, the BBI sees maximum gauge signal, as you mention but unfortunately I get zero assistance. What am I doing wrong? Any help is highly appreciated. Thank you! Dan

BionX 48V battery not responding but cells are ok

Hi, I have the same problem with the slow response. Thanks for any help. I have done the same thing, with the mention that I have 36V system with a Ride+ display, the simplest one, on a Diamant Ubari+ bike. I have completely eliminated the battery and its connectors and soldered the wires...

BionX 48V battery not responding but cells are ok

Hi Auber38 and wdeutsch, How did you do it? Please see my post above with what I did. I seem to be stuck in the same situation as ALN above, not knowing what to do with the Ch, Cl and wake wires. I am getting crazy about this now. Thank you for any advice, Dan

BionX 48V battery not responding but cells are ok

Hi Alexandre, I have read with great hope your posts concerning reviving a Bionx without the BMS. I have a system with a dead battery and have opened the battery case and tried to use it with an external battery (having its own internal BMS) connected to the internal battery wires. As it was a...

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Hi vshitikov, I do indeed ride my bike like a regular one, changing gears all the time and using same human power (effort) as without any assistance. I very much enjoy the assistance to make hills and wind not matter that much anymore, while being aware of their impact and as such reducing...

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

I like doing a lot of long days touring, some 10h in the saddle per day for 3-4 weeks in a row. Up to now, I did that with a regular touring bike but after discovering the TSDZ2 and the OSF with a 860C I am eager to use it as much as possible. So, in my quest for efficiency (read autonomy) I am...

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

No, I haven't, and don't know how. I looked a bit through the posts and appearantly I should have saved the original file but I haven't. So, could you please direct me to a walkthrough for this process and a link to the correct option byte file? I have a 750W 48V motor with a VLCD5. Thank you...

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Hi, Can anybody help me with the right way to revert to stock firmware? I have installed the 1.0.0 version together with a 860C display without any issues, based on everything I found here, thank you very much! Did the calibration, all's well. My only slight concern is that the autonomy seems...

Hi, I just installed 1.0.0 on my 750W 48V TSDZ2 and the corresponding firmware on an 860C. Everything went smoothly, great instructions, a great thank you to Casainho and to all the contributors! TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

If Thank you very much vass for your quick reply, very kind of you! I'm a Mac user but still have a very old laptop with windows XP and was planning to use that one. Is there no way I could use it? So, to roll back I would need to flash the motor controller again with the backup I saved. I...

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Hi, I have just installed a 750W 48V TSDZ2 with VLCD6 and a 14.5Ah Samsung battery. I'm new to this forum but have read a lot of your messages and am very interested in installing casainho's FOS 1.0.0 firmware with a 860C screen that should arrive very soon. The current installation works well...
