Hi all,

I crossed the 1000km mark on my ebike today so I thought I'd start a thread inviting people to post their CA stats. Just post a current pic of the main screens as you scroll thorugh them. You can tell the story of that trip, and then summarise how you have used the bike when you post the odo reading (the last screen).

I run my bike on 12S lipo, with a 15Ah 15C pack that I bulk charge to 50V with a meanwell s350 clone current limited to 5A at work and bulk charge at home either with a hyperion 14i or another meanwell. My motor is a 9C 9x7.

My trip to and from work is around 17km and, as I said, I charge at each end, around 8Ah.I typically get the trip done in around 34 minutes, but always between 32 minutes and 45 minutes with an average speed of about 30km. I usually use between 7 and 8Ah at an average of, I reckon, around 46V.

After a typical trip home from work thia ia what the CA looks like at the end:

The odo has just tripped over 1000km and has used about 19kWh at around 18wh per km. I've kept the battery between 50V and 44V the whole time and haven't had a serious problem with any component yet ! :)

Hey Simon,

Congratulations on the 1000km, what brand of LiPo's do you use?
Theres a lot of people who get faulty ones.
I just rode my new Zippy LiPo 5S 8000mAh once, it did a great job, and want to order more of them if they are reliable enough.

Hi Hans,

I'm using six zippy flightmax 15C 5000mAh packs mounted in the frame triangle wired as 12s3p. As you can see I'm driving them pretty conservatively, and I'm hoping for many more cycles! 8) All these bricks arrived in good shape from HK, so I"ve got no complaints there. I've seen people advise buying extra in case you get a faulty one, but if you do that you may end up killing the spare just by letting it sit around which seems a bit wasteful.

Simon. :)
