12v trolling motor battery recommendations

Why regulate?
Voltage is acceptable straight off the pack.
PS: Your 66AH pack will push a 30lb thrust motor full-throttle for over 3 hours.

My solution for my MinnKota C2 30lb motor that is hanging off my kayak:
*)First and foremost......I dumped the resistor matrix throttle and get a $15 PWM brushed motor speed controller...efficiencies go up by several magnitudes, especially at lower throttle usage.
*)Build a good pack with at least 20AH capacity....otherwise you will not have any usable range.
I bult a 10lb (!!!) 24AH 3s3P pack w/BMS using these cells:
