I have been searching all over for information for the 82ampHr modules from the 30kWh Nissan leafs from 2016

I was able to get these cells a while ago and I have some information about them. However, I have gotten too deep into my project and the only data point I don't have is what the Max discharge rate and continuous discharge rate for these cells are so that i can set proper limits on the cells.

I have heard 10C max discharge and 5C Max , 3C Max.
I am just looking for something consistent and reputable with these cells.

If you guys have any leads, I will be forever in you debt. haha~

You could do discharge tests while monitoring voltage sag and temperature.

If there is significant temperature rise, then current is probably higher than you would want to draw continuously.

If there is significant voltage sag, then current may be higher than you'd want to continuously draw.

The 2016 Leaf was rated at 80kW motor power.
With a 30kWhr pack that would imply a approx 3C load on the pack,,for max power.
You may reasonably assume that is what Nissan consider a continuous situation !
A MAX C rate depends on how long you want the cell/pack to live
Its quite likely that module/cell could discharge 15-20+ “C” rate for a brief period, ( secs “). But what that does to cell life is unknown.
If youhad not seen this, it may be useful...
