I recently bought an electric bike with a 36V battery. When I got it I saw that the charger wasn't with. The battery have two NL4FX inputs, and nothing else. I'm wondering what is the charger called for this? I can't seem to find it out :(

Please help! :)

The connectors have nothing to do with what charger you need. What is the battery type? What is the bike brand/model?

The bicycle is originally from draisin. I believe it is made by them.

bike with no charger is stolen imo. just like a laptop.

Bought it at a thrift store, and the charger didn't follow with so have to buy a new one. Nothing more than that..

Still doesn't say what kind it is for sure but will guess it's just an sla pack. In that case any 36V charger off ebay should work. You'll just have to match the connectors which you can also find on ebay.

If it's lead batteries, any scooter or bike sla battery charger will work. You just have to sort out the plug solution.

One example on ebay.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-OEM-36V-Scooter-Battery-Charger-Razor-MX500-MX650-/350269731246?pt=Battery_Chargers&hash=item518db3f1ae

Cheap but dont' be to amazed if you have to buy two to get one that lasts very long.

Came to the thought that the box on the side might have something to do with the charging? :)

More likely that's the motor controller. But I am not familiar with that bike. It's possible that a charger did connect to the controller. It just depends on how they wired the bike.

This can be a problem when reviving a dead old production ebike. You can't get original parts, so what you can get won't work so well because they seem to always wire the production bikes different from kits.

Both times I resurrected an old brushed motor bike, I ended up ripping out everything on the bike except the brushed motor. Then built from scratch using scooter parts to put a controller and throttle back on it.

Just too much trouble to get everything working again, lights, horns, locks, etc.
