4mm bullet for 5.5mm VESC connections

My motor has 4mm bullet connectors for the connection to my esc. I am using a VESC however which has 5.5mm female bullet connector leads. I am wondering what is the best way to make this work, cut the 4mm connectors and replace them with 5.5mm, or is there an adapter I can purchase to help with this issue.

The best way is to cut it or unsolder/re-solder with a matching connector.

4mm works, but some use 5.5mm due to the ability that the 5.5mm connectors can be spread out to provide a better grip.
