i am here after searching for code on internet for so long time :warn:

i am in a making of a recumbent trike which has a 6 speed cassette at back and a 28 tooth cog mounted on the motor shaft
which spins max at 550rpm.
it is at 1:1 ratio on first gear and attains a speed of 40kmph on load.

at a speed of 40 it need to change the gear to 2nd automatically and go on accordingly when speed increased.

but, am not at all in touch with programming.

i only know a bit about circuit. it should have to use a reed switch to calculate the speed of the back wheel (26inch wheel) and send a signal to arduino when speed is around 40kmph to change the gear from 1 to 2 till 6th and should auto return to 1st when speed decreases.

i will be using a geared motor with pulley mounted on the shaft.(pulls the derailleur cable as the arduino gives signal)

here is the thing some one made 100% what i needed but should change the rpm values.
(code is not posted there) :( : https://create.arduino.cc/projecthub/shift4me/auto-gear-changer-for-bicycles-53e9d3

please if any one knows about this please share the code and circuit diagram  .

everything on the trike is electronically controlled but not the derailleur :( so, i need this to be automated also

(ignore my english am not that educated :| )

did you try looking at the existing projects?

they should show up in this list, though not everything in the list is relevant, you should be able to tell what is.

https://endless-sphere.com/forums/search.php?keywords=derail*&terms=all&author=&sc=1&sf=titleonly&sr=topics&sk=t&sd=d&st=0&ch=300&t=0&submit=Search

there may be others not in this list that used shifter instead of derail*r

yes, i have gone through some of them

but only one of them by papagino is 80% closer to my need.

he is not responding, i even private messaged him for circuit diagram.

thanks for being an helping hand for every one mate :bigthumb:
