Bafang BBS02 ASI BAC 355 controller

Hi,

I'm trying to run a Bafang BBS02 36V 500W motor with the ASI BAC 355 controller and an eggrider display. The motor works but above a certain rpm value the motor starts to stutter, it works again when I slow down a bit. It's related to the rpm of the motor and not the power, because when I change the gear of my bike, it happens at the same rpm with lower power.

The hall sensors worked fine with the previous controller.

Any idea what could be the problem?

I changed the phase cables and the problem still persists, so it's not the phase cables.

What should I check next?
