Hello all,
I am looking into making a low cost basic BMS for myself, and figured I'd ask what others would be interested in seeing,
as at this time it's easy to throw in some features
Right now thinking of:
per cell UV/OV detection
per cell passive balancing on charge
Open drain /opto or relay signaling of UV/OV
8-16 channels
No gas gauging
No Overcurrent
Low per cell quiescent current, equally distributed so no single cell gets loaded more.
Cheap, simple, reliable
Made in the USA
Possibly extendable
Most likely LiFePo4 voltages as a starter.
Comments/suggestions?
