Battery Fires - NYC stats

It's the first time I've seen actual stats mentioned (second paragraph). Of course the numbers are growing as is the use of ebikes and the fact there is some really crappy cells out there. NYC may ban them from public housing.

My condo will only allow UL bats. Insurance guys are getting aware of the issue,and started it.
The whole issue of e-bike insurance is a can of worms . Stats on e-bikes are still not getting parsed out
and the plural of anecdote is not data, but moving there. Fire stats are better than health and injury stats at this point.
