Hello, i just ordered foc controller Nucular, so in the meantime i have a lot of time to investigate some claims, and dream setup for my 26 inch bike. First dream setup was 48v 31.5ah battery https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32840263105.html?spm=2114.12010615.8148356.1.494c31bcRhEzsI, with nucular 12f, and 26 inch leaf motor 1500w cassette edition https://www.leafmotor.com/26-inch-48v-1500w-rear-hub-motor-wheel-electric-bike-conversion-kit-p00096p1.html
. But now i want something like this battery https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4001228148554.html?spm=2114.12010615.8148356.7.5ecd6c29SiwfpF , nucular 12 f , and this 3k turbo. but 135mm.
some subjective opinion i got was this : 3kturbo is the best motor on the Market for 135mm per kv, I'd rather a more efficient higher accelerating 6t, 5t, or 4t 204 45h 3kturbo over a 205 35h leaf bike anyday comparing a 35h magnet to a 45h magnet that's a 28% loss in acceleration at the same kV alone, I don't like the leaf bike axles, they're from the mxus v2 3000watt motors and are prone to breaking on potholes with high speed on hardtail bikes.. The 3t mxus 45h 3kturbo 11.9kv acceleration is almost identical to the leaf 35h 5t, but the 3kturbo 3t has a 15% higher top speed , 3t 3kturbo is bad for 26 , 4t 3kturbo has 17.5% more thrust than a leaf 5t , https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebikes.ca%2Ftools%2Fsimulator.html%3Fmotor%3DLeaf%25205T%26batt%3Dcust_84_0.2_18%26wheel%3D26i%26hp%3D0%26cont%3Dcust_120_120_0.03_V%26blue%3DLbs%26black%3Dload%26mass%3D150%26bopen%3Dtrue%26cont_b%3Dcust_120_120_0.03_V%26motor_b%3DMX4504%26batt_b%3Dcust_84_0.2_18%26wheel_b%3D26i%26mass_b%3D150%26hp_b%3D0%26kv_b%3D10.49%26fbclid%3DIwAR03gI148WxynMhvODoih05ngYC_ySpJE5_G7ENuT3LJnZiBHor0z_MACNo&h=AT37yQLKpgaWNP6nSeZn85REKcvgAUgtYjkB5tSf7NxTS-Ag6zLCmmpTkUDotRUiAxDpJkk8EPUm8DOQf1C1IElRshSLg00iqaWXJV9oL2I8YAftdurZe4_h1_DqZ3_DOPtX&__tn__=R]-R&c[0]=AT2QuhYruX5l_RmRsTftDCmPPa5fCqlAYA651C0PL1-E4APe1X1eNaIEp7LBBEVZdiuFzAxdZHpHiTChCYr2Qt5xwDPih7IekM-cmHaxirzHTPjvhTZ0DDcrtm1NuFeTGBHS9YM06HKhRF1dWYWee4oJxHGCE3LL2kyM2MscObeaLQtvjc8qJzj2t1aZfmFL9rzHINV0NeGlc7CV , non of my 3kturbos have ever had problems with freewheels, and i gear them to take a 20t up front and a 16tooth in the rear usually so i can pedal up hills with no power... , the 3kturbo has a 20mm axle on the disc side with smaller axle flats, on the freewheel side it is designed just like the leaf motor , The leaf motor won't be able to pull the full current , I have sinewave Kelly's, I used to use adapttos, I've played with a 6f and 12f nucular, I couldn't find the settings for the IND, it's basically a revamped adaptto from what I saw, if it has the ability to have 2wd and slip control on the front wheel I'd happily pay for a 800amp version and a 400amp version,
I have steered away from sabvoton, they're cheap, but are better than a nucular for the price, I use and sell Kelly kls controllers, I don't use kbx/kbs/kbl/khb squarewave Kelly's anymore due to unreliability and they're for small ebikes with 3kturbo or smaller motors, even for a Mac motor I'd prefer a kls7212s (55amp continuous 120amp peak) for around $100usd
Or a kls7250h (160amp continuous 400amp peak) for 360usd , would like to know if the nucular controllers have timings that change as the voltage drops, as the Adaptto controllers did not and this put them out of business due to most of their controllers blowing up from regen and current feedback at low voltage
