Hello, I have BMC V4 TT motor installed on riksha. After some months of riding torque arms braked and cable lost insulation. Probably after the touch of uninsulated motor cable with metal axle of the motor all hall sensors in motor got broken. I have taken off damaged part of the cable and made new connections in motor and changed hall sensors.
When the wheel is in air, hub motor is going without any problems. When it is running on the street it is making horrible sound when starting and when there are lower revolutions during the ride. When I connect the motor to the analyzing tool it is showing everything OK. I have opened the motor again and I do not see any mechanical problems or broken parts. I will be very happy if you can tell me what is wrong and how can I fix it. Here is the video from my last ride. You can hear motor running OK at the beginning and at the end and crazy sound in the middle.
