hi everyone I’ve just joined the hole ebike thing is still nee to me I’ve recently bought a bultaco brinco r and I’ve got to be honest I love it it’s like it was made for me fits like a glove I’m not really fused about top end speed I’m quite a big lad and would like to get more torque out of it does anyone know what the motor is on these I was Wondering if a 5t motor would give me the bit more torque I’ve got a brand new one would I be able to put the same connectors as what is on my bultaco on it or would I have to do more than that any help will be really appreciated

I can't say for sure about the motor transfer but it should be fairly straight forward even if you have to solder on compatible connectors?

But I will say with surety that I am very jealous of the fact that you have a Brinko. I would really like one myself but alas I don't even know if any made it here to the states?

Recently BMW put out some press on a bike that I think is similar to the Brinko at least in statement of purpose called the iAmby. Also a dutch company put out a similar in theory bike about the same time that will never get anywhere because it has way to small of a battery....Problem is that these bikes don't really fit anywhere in the legal world of e vehicles although there does seem to be some movement in that direction according to the right side of this:

But if you read the left side it says a whole different story unfortunately.....

Best of luck getting it dialed in and keep us posted on your results!

Thanks for the help spoken to someone that specialises in these so al let you know how it turns out

How did the upgrade go?

I have a Brinco R and would like the same - more torque also less throttle lag.

Many thanks in advance :)
