Cyclone or GNG mid drive kit?

Question...
What is the best way to remove the extra wiring?
Electrical newb here...assuming that if I just clip them, they may short against each other.
I want to get this mess as tidy as possible. :)

For the cyclone I tucked all cables inside ziploc bags in between the two motor plates.

My first bike was a tuck job too
On my latest bike, I've trimmed everything and added new connectors.

Funny... I did that on the previous GNG kit I had on the bike: I trimmed all the cables and hid everything not needed inside the controller plus added new faston crimp-on type flat connectors, plus changed wire gauge to 10AWG... it was more work that I wanted to do this time; and this kit came with better cables anyways and the controller has all the cables hot glued to the side so I really didnt want to mess with it; besides, once you tuck everything away inside the ziploc bags it should be fairly weatherproof, provided you don't sink the bike in a lake...
