Hi.

I want to test my 15 amp Crystalyte controller .
Probably that I have a thermal runaway with one phase, to find wich one, I need to put a load to replace the Nine Continent hub motor.
Can I build this dummy load with only 3 resistors in a Y or Delta configuration?
I did a search on Endless-Sphere regarding this topic and I find nothing !
Do not hesitate to redirect me if I missed something.
You have any ideas for what can be the resistors value and the good configuration ?

Thanks in advance.

The controller expects a moving motor, and won't be properly testable with a simple resistor setup like that. Even if it is a sensorless controller it will expect to read pulses on the phase wires for the positioning sensing to correctly output the phase pulses. If it is not a sensorless controller, then it will require timing pulses on the hall wires in order to output the phase pulses.

There are "ebike testers" that will let you do this testing, however:
