Fat Bike Switch from mxus 3k to cyclone 3k, worth it?

So I am running a mxus 3000w on my fat bike right now and between the motor and the sabvoton 72080 on the bike, i find it a little heavy for throwing around trails. Plus the lipo packs that currently power it, though I am building a lg hg2 18650 pack to carry in a backpack, so that will help a bit anyway.

I am thinking about building another fatbike:
Cyclone 3000w mid drive
Single speed with rear steel fixie gear and bmx chain
Geared for 30 km/hr top speed
72v powered through a phaserunner (which i already have)

So Id like some opinions, is it worth it to change?

Its about $1000 once i get it all here to Canada but,
Ill drop over 15lbs off the current bikes weight.
And ill be moving the center of mass to right by my feet which I think should make the bike easier to flick around on trails. While still allowing me to spin the tire in snow, which is necessary where I ride in the winter months.

I would cnc myself a proper mount and guard for the cyclone so less danger of breaking things, or myself. Its not a commuter, just a fun bike. So a little added maintenance is fine.

Too late! I ordered the components and a new fatbike! Arrrrrg someone should have talked me out of it!

Ooo id love a tangent drive. But it costs more than twice what my whole new setup will (minus battery).

Ya i've been watching that thread too. Looks like the problems are based on the mounting gear. I can mill one myself on my cnc machine.
