Just wanted to share with everyone my latest purchase - 2 Foxnovo 4S battery capacity testers.

I got these on eBay for about $33 USD per unit.

They each have 4 independent bays that can accommodate an 18650 cell. I got these specifically because they have a mode that runs a capacity test - each cell is charged to full, discharged at 500 mA or 1A (while recording mAh), and then recharged (leaving mAh on display). This allows me to capacity test 8 cells in parallel! I have about 5 kWh of 18650 cells pulled from laptop packs that I need to capacity test and I really wanted an easy, cheap solution. This seems to be just that.

They look very similar to a Nitecore i4 charger I also have...

The only annoying thing about these so far is a loud beep noise that is triggered when a cell is completely charged or discharged. I plan on opening these up and desoldering whatever is responsible for this noise... it sounds too much like a smoke alarm.
