I've got a 500watt 48v TSDZ2 motor on the way, along with a bottle style Panasonic 48v battery:

I've been working on bikes a while now, and mounting the motor seems pretty straightforward, but my background in electronics is negligible. What can I expect in terms of connecting the battery to the motor? Will there be connectors out of the box and I just click something together? Will I have to solder connectors, and if so can you point me to where I can get these connectors? How about a step by step guide for this part of the setup?

Thanks,
Kyle

After reading this article: https://www.electricbike.com/matching-connectors-from-battery-to-controller/

I've decided to preemptively buy a set of the XT60 connectors with pigtails so as to take a crimp approach, just in case battery and motor connectors don't match up.

Don't know whether the XT-60's come with "spark arresting", but the XT-90's do; that's what I use and it's been successful on several conversions.
