How much torque at the wheel?

If this motor has a claimed 7 newton meters output and im using it with a 7 to 1 ratio to the rear wheel does that mean theoretically it could do 49 newton meters?

Are you asking whether your torque calculation is correct or are you asking how much torque[with the 9500 watt motor] is sufficient/necessary?

Too much torque steals from your possible highest top end speed and with too brisk of a throttle twist the extra unnecessary torque to the wheel will easily wheelie up your bike and properly pitch your ass onto the road.
 
I’m asking what possible torque would be at the wheel with this motor.


I have to see what current is actually passing to the motor but I’m not getting flipped and want to be getting flipped.


I should be able to have speed and torque with enough current. As it is now it’s just 30mph top speed and the front wheel doesn’t even lift with full throttle with 87v full charge and flipsky esc set to 140 amps.

Torque is multiplied and speed is reduced by the gear ratio.
 
Do you have a 3-speed switch that is set at #1 — low performance?

Usually the default, if you have not wired that option , is the mid setting — gives performance better than low.

Using the flipsky Vesc 75100 aluminum esc . It doesn’t have that switch


I forget exactly but the kv is very low at like 45. I believe the motor should start to saturate at maybe 60 amps anyway.

36 foot pounds is the peak output of a 450cc gas dirt bike. I should be able to flip at will and at higher speeds. I will bump up setting and programmed to 140 amps doesn’t mean it’s happening at all. Motor I can almost always hold a finger on the windings (nice assessment feature) and the esc is barely warm.

The typical 36 ft/lbs of torque from a common 450cc is at the motor shaft I think. And then they did some gear ratio I don’t know to the wheel. I believe. So this size motor with a 7:1 isn’t going to be anywhere near the torque of a 450cc


how about this 100x50mm stator? Whats the math to get an estimate of the torque if the 69x50 produces 7nm? If u please can.
