I used a Dremel to remove old copper and zincstrips from cells I'm going to use in a new pack and I've read that it could lead to corrosion. I wonder if there is a way to prevent corrosion but still be able to spot weld them?

Keeping them in a well sealed enclosure and applying dielectric grease after welding is about the most you can do. Make sure you have all of the copper and zinc removed; those two metals together corrode each other and form their own weak battery.

It seems to be a great product but I dont think I can get it here in Sweden. I think I found a grease that works, it can be used in boats. "Terminal grease"
