how to test a battery without a meter, this sound nuts but I just tested it and it works!

That worked great with my 24s 20ah A123 pack. My bike fell down and didn't bounce back, as the battery was fully charged. Good info..

You need to remove it from the bike first but I would stick to AAA'a and AA's :)....lol
 
That's wacky, but plausible.

I thought for sure it was going to be lick em. That's hard to do with most batteries, but works great with the 9v ones that have both terminals on top. If you put your tongue on a good 9v, you know it's a keeper right away!
