K2 LifePO4 26650 Cells

Found this listing while browsing Craigslist this morning - It's not my listing and I don't know the guy... wondering if $0.24/wh is a good deal for these cells of unknown age, they are apparently new.

10.24wH per cell is roughly what the best of the latest 18650's are putting out (samsung 30Q etc) - so approx half the capacity weight for weight, price is similar too. Taking into account these are of unknown age I think you can do better for the price.

K2 make some decent cells.
If you check their site. https://k2battery.com/product/k2-lithium-ion-energy-cells-8/ You will see thay make various products...but these are their "Energy" cells which means they do not thave the high discharge current ability rate of their similar "Power" cells. Request the data sheet to confirm, but i think you will find these are only 2-3 C rated for discharge.
And as mentioned above, they are 2x the weight of similar rated 18650s.
