I found on his blog where he talked about the ezee batteries, " LiMn chemistry". I guess this explains why the bike came with a 42v charger. Like I said before I know Jack Squat about prismatic cells. One thing I can see though is the cells were not balancing as some were at 3.7 after charging and some were at 4.0.

Upon inspection I saw 2 of the small boards, 1 on each cell group of 5.
 
Yea for LiMn it's. Pretty much dead at 3.4v and. 4.15 volt for the heart of power.
Fecter is an expert and Im waiting for more info on boards. Thanks.
