Need new controller/upgrade

Hello, I have a bolton gen1 blackbird. I bought used and took it out on the trail while on pas 1 some mosfets blew. I have a controller coming from China but hoping to get one sooner.

I can not find a controller that will match up to the connections that I currently have, that is my main issue.

I am a numb when it comes to this.It appears to be the board is shot

Stock controller is 22amp and would like to upgrade to a 35 amp and it will be used for a hunting bike.

Bike has a 1000w bafang motor 48v 16ah

I can not find a controller that will match up to the connections that I currently have, that is my main issue.

In almost all cases, changing the controller requires some wire re-splicing and possibly some connector purchases to connect to existing wiring. Also, controllers usually work with a specific display and don't usually mix and match. Unless the new controller is a direct replacement it is best to get the specific display that works with it.

Thanks, the current controller is a kt, as that is the display I have as well.

It's a KT controller where the connections are well known. Buy another one, Looks like you have to find one with waterproof plugs, but it uses the Z916 connector to go to the motor. I think the round handlebar harness cable is a universal IT4 or IT5 connector , as is the yellow 3 pin PAS connector.

It might mean staring at stuff on aliexpress til you find the appropriate model. Or maybe you can cut off the old one and splice it to a new controller.

Thanks for the help and confirmation on what I have to do. I do have a controller on order from aliexpress and another one from Amazon with sm plugs that I will try and splice
