Rizeblader
10 mW
Hello,
I have been searching, reading and watching videos to get my answer. Still have some questions. I have a Rize Blade 1000W Bafang geared rear hub motor with a 48V 19.2 amp battery and 26 max amp factory controller. Currently with speed limit unlocked I am doing 26 to 27MPH GPS confirmed. Motor if labeled as Bafang RM G062.D 06 1. Motor has L1019 connector. Rest are Higo/Julet connections.
I'd like to get some more torque and top speed if possible.
Desired max speed on level ground: 30 to 35 mph. Will be happy with low 30s.
Desired max range at what cruising speed. Not worried about range, would like the ability to keep my PAS, as I often pedal with PAS 1 to 3.
Preferred bike wheel size, or wheel size of bike you want to convert. Bike has 20x4.25 slick Kenda Kraze tires.
Brake type of motor wheel. Have front and rear hydraulic disc brakes.
Rider weight. 180lbs
Terrain. Exp: mostly flat, some short hills under 20% grade.
Budget. Hoping to keep it under $600, will spend more if needed.
Additional. Would like to keep lights run from controller if possible. Would also like to set it, tune and leave it be. Do not want to destroy any factory wiring or controller. In case I need to return bike to stock.
I feel like I have 2 good options, please let me know if there is an option I missed or which would make most sense for my scenario.
1) Sabvoton/Rinsun
12 MOSFET 45A 36V, 48V, 60V, 72V Universal Voltage 1100W-2200W Intelligent Programmable Sine Wave Controller
Along with Bafang 750c screen.
I am having a hard time finding L1019 connector. I'm assuming for all other connectors, I can crimp or solder on the corresponding julet/higo connector to match my bike? (Pas, brake cut off, headlight). Run everything to controller under my seat and maintain current cleaner look up front.
Will run me approximately $150 for controller and 750C display. I figure another $100 to $200 for miscellaneous cables and expenses. I will buy appropriate higo connectors, attach them to controller removing the JST connectors.
2) Phaserunner with L1019 connector and CA V3. All wires run to the CA up front so looks a bit more cluttered. Need to convert all to Higo, harder/more work to setup? Would I even use it's full potential due to my current motors limitation?
Approximately $500ish for this setup.
I can add links if I am allowed per forum policy.
Thank you!
