Hi everybody.

I need your help here.

I have a nine continent rear hub and i whant to know if it's possible to remove and reinstall this axle.

Do i need special tool(s) for doing that.

This can be done easily ?

I have at least the tool for removing the freewell !

Do you know where i can find a mecanical drawing for this axle ?

Any help will be appreciated

Thanks a lot.

I know gdindc (or dave) has done it . he heated it with a torch and hammered it out, but did not recommend this method. You need a press and the proper sockets. just take the clip pff and press it out . I would press on the solild side of the axle if possible. you may find drawings on justins site ebikes.ca.

I endind up just buying a new motor

It's a lot more complicated than expected to remove this axle !

My problem is that the nine continent rear hub is 7 mm too wide for my trike. $%#&%$

There is a way to remove 7 mm to the rear hub in a way that it will fit the trike ?

It's why i want to know how the axle is made.

I still dont have find an axle schematic !

Auminum or steel? Might be able to safely spread steel 7-8mm? Why not try offering some details about the install (model, batts) and see if some folks can help?
