Hi i live in phoenix AZ and have been wanting a bike. well my friend shows up and says i found you a e bike for free he open his back door and wrestles out a Voloci almost complete missing a front wheel a batt a chain and the cover for the controller i have temporally mounted a bike wheel to the front so its mobile i happen to have a good 36.0volt lith ion batt from a razor metro sup that fits perfect I need to know of the three contacts in the batt box which one is pwr/grnd/ batt temp. i got the controller wires all hooked up from pictures on this site. but the 12volt system aka the lights and switches lead up to the bottom of the seat most i figured out except where does pwr come from i take it the key switch wires can just be jumped as no key was with id like to get this electric hooked up and see if it works sooner rather then later if the motor is bad which it maybe as the hall senor wires are super stiff and the main pwr to the controller had the connector welded onto the inside of the cover at some point. can anyone post pics of the wiring under the seat it much faster then trying to remember how to read wiring diagrams when i know pic would be faster. if i can keep this bike original I will do that but if not i got a razor es300 brushed motor and controller 32.v but i know it will do just fine with 42 volt batt. i plan to go that direction only because i just escaped homelessness and have no income but to have any transportation in the arizona heat is a blessing and this bike is so light weight and bike like i can put it in the bike rack on the bus easier then many bike users but id be grateful for any positive feedback advice or help offered in advance. also ive notived my seat has a metal platform i have not seen on any others id be tempted to mount a mobily scooter motor seems like a good spot for motor and battery and would keep it much cooler. i know this bike has the potential to be faster then my CBR 1100XX but how frightening or stable is this bike at very high speeds just wondering just after around town transportation. anyone have a good way to keep from walking off while one is shopping??

thanks Maddie

First off this is someone’s build thread, not a place for asking questions..

So your friend shows up and says he found you a E bike and then proceeds to pull it out of his back door? He must’ve showed up with his entire house 🧐
How does he show up and then pull the bike out of his house? Sounds like either you or someone stole this bike. It’s missing a front wheel because it was chained to a bike rack, etc. and the wheel was removed so the bike could be stolen. Then the battery is missing because that was stolen off the bike, and it makes sense that the front of the controller cover was missing because they needed to disconnect the battery from the controller.

So you have no source of income but you have a CBR 1100 and you’re claiming that this ebike has the potential to be faster 🧐

Then you’re asking if you go shopping how can you keep from the bike being stolen. You just said you have zero income, so how can you buy stuff from a store if you don’t have income?

Everything about your message seems sketchy and unreliable!

sorry i m not in tune to your forum threads>>> the backdoor of his car i never said anything about his house. Your assumptions are astoundingly poor i pray your not a detective. why would someone lock the bike by its front wheel? wheels come off easy and many bikes have quick releases i have not seen anyone lock just a wheel. fyi this bike was found in a pile of trash in a nice neighborhood during bulk trash pick up had it been anywhere else in phoenix it would have been to the scrap yard for the aluminum and been long gone . the batt was most likely removed because it has to be disposed of in accordance with local hazardous waste laws and could not go out with the bulk trash. From what i can tell the battery can be removed without removing either of the covers. yes i was recently homeless but at almost 50 yrs old i have always done well for myself as an ASE certified Mercedes Benz and European/ Asian car specialist this afforded me the privilege owning several CBR's and a R1 and fj 1100 this does not mean i currently still have them. as far my trips to the store well they used to be called food stamps aka EBT and its increasingly difficult to get food home to my slum lords place which is blocked from having delivers because the property looks blighted and drivers wont stop here. the cops dont even come when you call telling them someone is trying to kick in your door . I have contacted the DMV and was told if i had not been registered in the last 4 years they have no record of the owner they purged all RV and motorbike records 4years ago, any other assumptions or accusations???? let me know Sherloc Not. How rude who pissed in your cheerios ?? where is moderator??? in my experience people who go around asserting that people are theives liars ect... are the ones who carry out those very deeds. im glad i could provide you with something to bitch about to day!!! oh FYI the key was in it !!!! i would love a sincerer apology buy it wll never happen on here.. and to whomever build thread i posted questions in im sorry!! but it seemsedlike you might be eager to help as you have an affinity for these bikes and perhaps would help save one . but ill probably just gut it and put my motor and controller and avoid this site and eliminate my questions many of which were answered in the threads, hey wanna know what happened that ended my job at Mercedes and how i ended up a auto part store manager for 6 yrs to divorced and homeless with lung cancer. actully it be more fun if Mr Holmes would just assume to know.

Hey do you still have this bike? I shipped a Voloci cross country and it was lost by YRC freight in 2020. I always wondered where it went.. wanna sell this one?
