Pedal assist

Hey!

I’ve run into a weird problem with my ebike, the pedal assist will work when first turning on the bike, but after a few seconds it’ll start cutting out and then completely stop working.

The sensor is consistently showing a green LED light, and it’ll faintly blink when I turn the cranks.

The throttle works fine and the bike will run without an issue when only using the throttle.

I’ve checked the sensor connection, unplugged it and replugged it, and it seems tight and snug,

I’ve tried cleaning the sensor / magnets.

Anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

I’ve ordered a new sensor in case the one I have is faulty,

Magnet distance from sensor? Too close or too far and they dont' work right.

Sensors can also get water in them and fail.

It’s an integrated sensor (i think its called), there’s just a single sensor / ring, it’s a 12 magnet sensor.
