Pedals coring out mounts

I built a Lunacycle/Bafang BBSHD a few years back. The crank arms and pedals did exactly what you've detailed on the first trip across town. I rode home on throttle only with one pedal arm. Bafang aluminum was too soft for anyone larger than child size.

Similar problem: I'm a Clydesdale. ;)

Tried unicycle arms but they were too short. Took alot of miles to figure this out.

Someone suggested: Shimano Kurbelarm-Set STEPS FC-E6000 175 mm

I found a set on eBay and bought them along with a new set of $25 mtn bike pedals on Amazon.

I'm on my second or third year with this setup and no further problems.

I bought a box full of various cranks last summer.
The CCM stock crank has been holding up, atleast for the few months I was riding it before I melted the windings. I think it must've been a 25H motor, much smaller then the 9C clone I am riding now. Not sure what the 9C is, maybe 35H?

Whenever I go looking for a Deore, or SLX crank the price bitchslaps me.

A few years back the Dirty-Sixer were causing a lot of talk by building oversized bikes with 90% custom parts for large and heavy riders. I am unsure whether they are still in business but maybe they can set you up with heavy duty cranks? And pedals when you're at it.
