Possible Mislabled C-B-P- on BMS

Battery and soldering noob here. I am installing a new 36V 10S BMS onto my pack. I soldered the B- wire onto the BMS. I want to make sure my connection is good so I tested with my meter. Power was flowing through it but the problem is power is flowing through the C- pad and not the P- on the BMS. It was a pretty cheap BMS, is it possible it could just be mislabeled or am i just completely missing something?
