Hi Everyone,

Anyone knows if this is the "engine" number or just a model/batch number

The hub also has a small white sticker with a barcode with a 22 alpha numberic character

You'd have to ask QSMotors exactly what the info means.

There are various threads about motor numbers guessing what they are, but they are just guesses (sometimes educated ones) and speculation.

What information about the motor did you need? There may be other ways to find it with certainty.

Why do you need to know that is a unique "engine" number?

What do you plan to use it for?

Sometimes the manufacturing line will write stuff on the inside of the motor like kv or other useful info on the winding wire stats.

I need to use it as an identifier for insurance purposes

My guess is it's probably unique, but you'd have to find out from the manufacturer if they ever reuse numbers.

For insurance identifiers, I'd recommend engraving your own onto any part that needs one.
