QSMOTOR + other brands' controllers?

Hello everyone.
I was looking at QSMOTOR's smaller and cheaper power units and found the QS90 1kW mid drive motor, small but probably capable of more like its bigger brothers QS138 70H/90H, but i was looking on the controllers they normally are sold with (Votol, Sabvoton, and YYK/YuyangKing), and some threads here where users talk about their problems.

So i thought if maybe they can work with other controllers, like Kelly Controllers' units, or the VESC-based ones from TRAMPA/Flipsky/other brands, but when i tried to search about, i found some results about Kelly's units, and i didn't found any mention about VESC testing. If someone here already tested or also does want to test these items together, maybe we can Discover together it.

the QS mids are IPM motors which benefit from field weakening and the kelly controllers don’t have that so they are not the best match. Vescs should work well, there is even MTPA control developed for them which should be optimal.
