First ebike build for me. Criticism welcomed.

Main Goals & Constraints I wanted to adhere to:

- Dual suspension (comfortable ride)
- Moto styled seat (more comfortable than bike saddle)
- Keep frame in original condition (no frame modifications)
- Suit urban riding and mild off-road/trail riding
- Must be relatively cheap build for an e-bike
- Spend under $1000 AUD ($700 USD) on electrics (motor/controller/battery)
- More than 750W
- Decent range eg. 50km+ (31miles+)
- Min speed 35km/h (22mph)
- Twist Thottle controlled (I am used to riding dirt bikes)

Final Specs:

- Donor bike - 2010 Specialized Bighit FSR I, 26" wheels, second-hand, very good cond. $800 AUD ($536 USD)
- Hub Motor - 1000W Voilamart Hub + 26" wheel + 26Amp Controller, SW900 Display, $360 AUD ($240 USD)
- Battery - 52V, 19.2Ah, 998Wh, 40Amp, UPP Hailong Battery, Panasonic 27100 cells, $510 AUD ($340 USD) October2023
- Max Power Delivery - At full charge ~1400W
- Max Speed - Flat ground, no wind 49km/h (30.5mph)
- Max range at full power, no peddling, 50km+ (31miles+)
- Max range at low power, no peddling, 60km+ (43miles+)
- Final weight 32kg (70.5lbs)

Well scrolling down the pics from the top to bottom, that was an impressive transformation that I wasn't expecting. (y)(y) Looks great.

I'm interested in how those Panasonic cells perform over time since I've been looking at what 21700 cells are available. Are you getting what you expected from the battery pack?

@E-HP Thanks for the kind words.

I honestly had no expectation of the battery since this was my first ebike. I was hoping to reach 50km rides without peddling. It does that easily at moderate speeds (average 12-18mph) which for me is fast enough for zipping around town.
I only charge up to 80% most of the time. I will charge to 100% just before a ride if I know I am going to need a bit more range. The pack is rated for 800 charges, fingers crossed :D

OK, you asked for it, and don't take it personally. When I look at the finished build, "Cyber" didn't quite do it. I know that "Stealth Bomber" is already taken, and frankly, the plane it's named after is a little bloated, but with your build being leaner, Stealth Fighter, in an F-117 kind of way came to mind when I scrolled to the final pic.
