Anybody tried this frame?

Not sure what the measurements of the dropouts are....

Looks like a good starting platform.

Should work with a front motor. No brakes if you use a rear motor, or regen brake only.

Cool frame, too bad it doesn't have at least a rear disk though. Bet it's steel, so you could weld on a mount.

Yep DM. Gotta be steel. "Lugged and brazed". Good stuff. Almost makes me wish I could ride 2 wheels again.

Man that is dirt cheep. Steintrikes tandem is over $5000 USD. Something to consider if I lose my ability to pedal. Wifie can do it all and I'll strap in as stoker. :(

I have seen the Sportsman flier before, the chassis was used to win a Bonneville Land speed record in the 175cc push rod engine class.

A class I am going to compete in myself next year. I spent last winter building my own 175cc push rod engine, which is finished and awaiting a little work on my chassis before it goes on the dyno!.
I never posted on here about it as it is an ICE machine. Interesting project though, having to design and manufacture my own cam aswell as extensive hardware mods to the rest of the lump.

On the order page it does offer optional front drum brake and 3, 7 speed versions. I wonder if the 7 speed is an IGH? I would assume at least a rear drum brake with either gearing option?

Who's that guy that built the red Indian board track inspired eBike? Around San Diego IIRC?

I love that "look" though. Reminds me of a '29 JD Harley I had the pleasure of owning for a while.

Makes me think of Michael Blast Greaser, vintage style ebike.
