Stolen battery replacement - case, plug, etc. SLA to Lithium

Hello,

My e-bike battery and case were recently stolen. The store I bought from is no longer in business. Looking for some tech help in replacing.

Some details:
2 x 12 volt 12ah SLA battery
24 volt controller
250 watt brushless geared hub motor

This was a no-name, made-in-china bike. Folding style, called Silver Lark when I bought it.

Pictures attached. I have never done this kind of work so any help is appreciated from where and what to buy, how to connect, what to do, etc.

Also, I'm game to make the switch to Lithium. From what I've read though, I may need to replace my controller?

I've seen a lot of 36 volt replacement batteries on ebay. Not sure if my bike can handle one of those. Thoughts?

Thank you in advance for any help!

Compatible replacements would be a 7s rc lipo pack or an 8s lifepo4 pack.

Why do you choose those? I wouldn't recommend either.

There's plenty of compatible lithium 24v batteries you can use. You can keep the controller too. The only thing we don't know is the current that the controller and motor take, but if you get a battery capable of 20A, you should be OK. This type may well fit your connector. The most important thing is that you check the polarity to connect it the right way round:

perhaps, if you show a picture of your bike, we cab advise better.

Here's a pic of my bike (and battery pack prior to it being stolen), and one of it without battery pack. (Don't mind the green tape, I need a new seat eventually. First things first though...)

The link you sent seems pretty close in size just from looking. I've mostly been searching up battery packs and chargers on ebay and haven't seen prices that low yet!

Maybe this will fit, and it's 24 volts. Might be the same battery as the other link. Higher price, but you have to compare the cost after shipping. If you are in the USA, this might be more convenient.

If you do about 500 miles a year on your E-bike, I would seriously consider going with Lipos or Life. I helped a friend that converted when his SLA batteries went bad and was very happy when he converted over.

Sent them an email. I'm in Canada, so checking on their shipping rates vs. the first one.

Thanks. Fingers crossed!

Any thoughts on what A/C voltage from the dropdown menu on the BMS website?

If you are crafty enough, you could put 45ah/6s block from a chevy volt pack and a bms like https://bmsbattery.com/bmspcm/330-smart-bms-513-cells-in-series-bms-pcm.html and you could ride long rides.
I have one of those packs in montreal if you want
