Tongsheng TSDZ2 and VLCD5 won't turn on reliably

Hi,

I'm having intermittent issues with a TSDZ2 (48V Tongsheng TSDZ2, with a VLCD5, 6 wire connector and 12AH battery) and wondered if anyone had seen something similar and knew what the issue is? And whether the issue is likely related to the VLCD5 or the TSDZ2.

Issue:
Frequently when powered on, the VLCD5 turns on and then off again instantly or after a few seconds. This continues to happen, but occasionally it will turn on properly (sometimes after cycling for a while and trying again). Once it is working correctly, it seems to be fine until the VLCD5 is turned off or times out, and after that, the problem occurs again.

Might be stating the obvious here but make sure that the plugs are fully seated into the back of the display. I had this issue on my first go round several years ago and that was my problem.
