TSDZ2 Emmebrusa mod: set max speed from display - dashes only in VLCD5?

Hello Emmebrusa users,

I recently reflashed my wife's and my TSDZ2 and selected the option to take the speed from the display. Everything works fine on my wife's bike, but on my VLCD5 display there are only four dashes when I want to set the speed limit.

Who can help me??

Does the display have the correct FW to match the controller?

Is there any difference between the two systems at all? (settings, wiring, etc)?

It’s all original 48V 750W TSDZ2 motor with VLCD5 display. I think I‘ll try to reflash the stock firmware files and see if this will solve the problem. And then flashing again the Emmebrusa mod. Do you agree with this approach?

This is confusing, so some clarification is needed:

If it's original TSDZ2/VLCD5, then it still has OEM firmware, so why ask the question to Emmebrusa mod firmware users, and not OEM firmware users?

If it's got the Emmebrusa firmware, then it's not original....

If it's Emmebrusa on the controller, but not the display, is the Emmebrusa intended to work that way? And vice-versa.

Etc.


It also doesn't answer the question of whether there are any differences in settings, wiring, etc between the two systems, any of which could cause different operation.
