I am hoping that someone can help identify the pin functions for a 6-pin vlcd-6 display cable. The connector has 6-pins but there are only five wires in the cable.
I think the functions should be UART RX, UART TX, Vin, GND, and Vbat. What wire colors or pin numbers will match the functions?

Update:
My original post asked the wrong question, so I want to correct it here.
My project goal was to shorten a 1T2 cable, and at the same time, convert it to a 1T1 cable to connect a TSDZ2B motor to a VLCD 6 display. The project is now complete and working fine.

My 8-pin TSDZ2B motor came with a 1T2 cable that had branch cables to display and throttle. The cable was too long, and I don't want a throttle, so a rework was needed. I cut off the throttle cable and cut off the plastic junction housing. I then shortened the main cable and spliced soldered it to the display cable. All splices were covered with heat shrink. The reworked length also covered with shrink.

For anyone interested in doing the same in the future here are the connections I used:

Brown to Brown is UART TX
Orange to Orange is UART RX
Green to Green is Battery volts
White to White is LCD on/off signal to motor
Black to Black is Ground
Blue in main cable not used for this project
Red in main cable not used
Yellow in main cable not used

The information supplied by Yanis was useful in for this rework, thanks.
