Don't do that Sam, if people see real world pictures of what looks like a bioplanet bike they might start to believe they actually exist and fall into the trap of ordering one

If that actually happens it would go a long way to undoing the appalling publicity surrounding this bike. However due to the vague timesacle and likelihood that the new management is just the old management under a new company name I don't hold out much hope. Will keep you informed.

Also, writing this on their home page, "Biplanet Bike is a trademark brand pursuant to relevant international laws. Bike is protected by industry design copyright and every act of copying, reproducing or design misuse for commercial purposes without written permission of the company is prohibited." is a bit hypocritical considering their search engine optimisation metadata:

I see they're now offering only to sell in bulk to corporate buyers. Why rip off individuals when you can take a whole company for a ride hey ? (pardon the pun)

I checked google before and while this thread has fallen down the ranks a little my warning video on youtube is now the 3rd hit, only behind the official bioplanet site and their FB page and comes up before bioplanets own youtube and vimeo videos. Rock on

We have closed our business in Croatia due "bad start-up environment" and currently transferring business to German soil. Much better legal protection and business environment than my homeland. But, no more patriotism just business.

We have on stock 100+ unfinished Bikes which will be finalized in Germany. Tough times are behind us.

It seems to me and/or anyone else who's read the details of what has gone on here that the problem lies not with Croatian soil but somewhere between the boots and the hat of the person who's been standing on it.

So will the Australian member TomL who paid for a bike he never received be getting his ?
If you really do want to get bioplanet back on track delivering his bike should be your first order of business, followed closely by putting a bike in the hands of someone here that the global ebike community trusts to do an honest review.

At this point does Tom even want the bike? In this situation, as awesome of a machine that bike could be, I'd simply take my money elsewhere. Every time I'd look at the thing would remind me of this whole ordeal rather than bring a smile to my face.

Bioplanetbike, I do hope that you do take efforts in salvaging your reputation through the customers who have been harmed.

Giving you the benefit of the doubt, you have given a reason why the ebike has been delayed... What is holding up the refund? If you are on the level, seems as that could have happened months ago.

Having the advantage of seeing the many many months of promises and still no refund or ebike being delivered it seems like a giant ebike Ponzi scheme.

If I was a scamming mastermind looking for a way out to keep everyone happy but obviously still keep my ill gotten gains of say $50,000. I would put the money into a super leveraged CFD stockmarket/commodities trading account that gives you x100 on your money leveraged (common leverage for CFD trading). So that's 5 million to trade with. Do a single massive trade like a buy Warren Buffetts "Berkshire Hathaway" stock just pray it pays off, get like $50,000 back in a day and repay everyone! There's more chance to win then a casino/bet, if the trade goes wrong then the $50k will disappear quick unfortunately, so got to do it right. But such people looking down the barrel of having their victims catch up with them and loosing their gains need to consider replacing the current scheme with a new scheme.

I remember watching TV on 60 minutes about that rape-a-thon that a bunch of Croatian police committed against an Australian girl a few years ago that they finished up by murdering her.
60 minutes had a fair amount of evidence, and they also made it out to be a bit of a standard routine these police would commit against girls from overseas who visit night clubs who get drunk/vulnerable but those Croatian police are still free to this day, haven't been touched.
So I do believe there are too many problems in Croatia to get legitimate justice.

If you want to name a special edition named after me how about call it the "Justice Jay" and actually deliver it to those who've paid for it.

But hey, maybe you're a changed man and soon (soon, there's that word again!) we really will start seeing these available from reputable retailers.
