Dewalt 36V (one way how to repair your blown BMS)

Doc I had a nightmare today with a battery I was repairing. All the cells were 3.0v, discharged, for safety and also to allow for a full charge.

Kept getting the three flashing lights, so soldered in a new BMS, from the packs either you or Katou sent me two years ago.

Then it worked.

BUT

Last night I discharged my own battery with a CBA III at 3.0Amps to see what capacity it had AND NOW IT WON'T CHARGE and I keep getting the three flashing lights!!!

Hello,

Can you remember where you got your spare BMS UNITS from? I am having trouble with some batteries which I have and I have located the problem to be with the BMS. Just wondering if anybody has any they want to sell?

Thanks,Mark.

Thanks Doc, this was very helpful!
