New Fox Float RP2 7.5", very nice rear shock absorbs bumps very well.

Raised the amps to 100.
Now hitting about 8000w

Nice, is the bag permanently installed, or do you have a quick release system?

Quick release, its held on by two velcro straps top and bottom., its very secure and comes off in seconds.

How do you like the Shimano Zee's? Do they really solve all the disk warping problems?

I'm looking at getting some Saints. Possibly the ice tech stuff but I have to get a whole new hub for the centerlock rotors.

Zee's are nice, but I find that even the Shimano SLX are sufficient, even the XT with the ice tech pads are nice.

Been riding this bike daily for 5 months already. No problems, 52mph top speed. 10AH gets me about 15-20 mile range under spirited riding. Dirt riding, commuting, hill climbs, this bike does it all for me.

Great build. I read all posts and could not discern the wheel construction details. I saw the mention of the tires. What about the front wheel, did you just change tires? And how did you build the rear wheel: spokes, rims, etc.?

Thanks

I don't know about evolutiongts v2100 wheels but I put 19" pro-wheel motocross rims and shinko sr241's front and back on my v2100

Nice looking tires. I know I could look this up myself but how much a weight penalty does one accept to use moto spokes, rims, and tires vs bike stuff?

I'd think the rear hub on moto rim and spokes is worth the weight to have a much more reliable and durable wheel. Front tire seems less clear if worth upgrade. There is of course increased costs, what is the average upgrade costs to do moto wheels?

Lastly, the moto tire look is cool but also makes it looks less like a "bike" on first glance. For those who want stealth, especially with popo, has there been much reported over increased second looks by them with moto vs bike wheels? Maybe less of an issue these days with the fat tire trend.

I don't know if I want to think about cost as my eyes start to involuntarily water if I do. You have to figure at least 400.00 for a starter dual crown fork if you get a deal. 300.00 for front tire, rim, spokes, tube and hub. 200.00 for the rear if you lace the motor in yourself. I'm not sure about the total weight penalty with front and back being considered but I'm running 30s lipo(125v) at 120 battery amps. The ride is wonderful though. If you want stealth this is not the look you want. My bike is in fact anti-stealth. There is a lot about ebikes I don't know but I did Iearn a lot building this one.

Now using Sabvoton Sinewave controller.

20S 10AH. Top speed is now close to 55mph.

What's your plan for the MXUS 3T? Are you going to swap out the Cromotor for the MXUS?

I am really curious how the Sabvoton will work on the 3T MXUS and 20S LiPo. :D

That's the plan, the MXUS will be vented and phase wires upgraded. I'm going with the same tire you have although in 17x2.75

Switched to MXUS 3000W motor with 17' Moto rim and 2.75x17 Hutchson Moped Tire.

Top speed so far is 50mph on a slight incline on a cold morning. 5500W.

Cute m&m girl! Are you noticing less heat from the sabvoton?

Sabvoton controller itself doesn't get hot at all, but its the motor that gets hot.

17" makes the motor run more efficiently and cooler than on a 26" wheel.

Now with 17" moto wheels and tires.

Really nice build! Subscribed!
Looking to get an urban assault/high acceleration off the line. I have an I.C.E. scooter at ~10hp that almost power wheelies, and I am looking at alternatives. Most of all I would love a mongoose cx, so cool. Let me know if you can consider selling it =) A bicycle with mxus 3000w with sabvoton for 5.5kw would be cool too, and at a bargain! Not sure it would be powerful enough to replace the scooter though =/

How come you swapped from cromotor to mxus 3000w?
What is your current spec (battery pack composition, what sabvoton model, and did you do any mods to anything)?

Not sure it would be powerful enough to replace the scooter though =/

My Genesis would be (30s lipo 150 phase amps 250 battery amps)

Thanks the trail is about 2-3 miles long. Yeah I usually hold back on the power especially if there''s people walking, or shared trails.
