Wing in Wheel, Downwind faster than wind

Sorry, inside joke. Safe ( a person) was always trying to convince us his facts were correct with fancy graphs and charts of imaginary data. But he was so often wrong that others made a crusade of pointing out his incorrectness, and attacking every post he made. Eventually it got personal, he crossed the line and got banned from the forum.

Quite an acievement, given this forums toleant moderating. Mostly, folks were tired of trying to keep noobs from believing his "facts".

I'm fairly sure you aren't Safe. But if you started saying how lead batteries were better than lithium, and posting a graph that proved a saggy low cycle life battery was better than an non saggy high cycle life battery, I'd start wondering if you were Safe.

someone should send this video to the Mythbusters, I have a feeling its fake
No I think its real there is another thread on it. The way I understand it is the blades work like a wind sail and they caputure the wind on an angle to make the 2.5x the speed of the wind posible.

I love the dedication. When I was young I was convinced I could take a motor and a generator, link the stator shafts, wire the output of the generator to the input of the motor, give it a spin, and violia! Free energy. I actually built a model as I didn't believe my engineering source (grandpa) at the time, that it wouldn't work. Well of course this didn't work, but you can;t stop the imagination of a 10 year old.

You may find this a good read:

And my favorite video that is great for threads like this:
