Mid drive heat dissipation - water cooling?

Hi,
I run a BBSHD with an external controller. I used to run it at 3KW, but recently found out that 60 amps at 84V is loads of fun! The only problem is that the motor gets really hot. I have attached a few heat sinks on the bottom of the motor, but it still gets hot.

Thought about attaching a PC water cooling system to the bottom of the motor instead of passive heat sinks. What do you think? Any other ideas?

if such a motor gets too hot, the reason is it runs at low efficiency. You can add tons of weight for a water cooling to turn your pricey battery energy into heat a bit faster. Or just upgrade to a bigger motor. Cyclone 3000W or LR-Kit, there are quite a few options these days.

There are quite a few people who tried water cooling with middrives and they all stopped doing it. Ask Adam (bzhwindtalker) for example
