Programming Kelly Controller kbs48101x failure

Hi.
I have 2 kelly controllers kbs48101x as I want to configure.
I have installed the user program on my win10 laptop. I have bought a rs232 to USB cable (Swedish supplier) and connected it to the controller via the connect cable I got from Kellycontroller (se attached picture).
I have also installed USB driver, both the driver from kellycontroller.com (USB to RS232 drivers for Windows 10) and the recommended driver from the Swedish supplier for my rs232 to USB cable.
Finally, put 12V to the controller (se picture). No other connections.
I have tried connecting with both drivers and restarting the computer but the program always says “Can’t connect to the controller”.

Have anyone any idea what's wrong? Do I perhaps need the original Kellycontroll rs232 to USB cable? Does it matter?
When putting 12 V to the controller, should any lamp lightning? No one does.

Note. My project is to have a vehicle with two 48V bldc hub wheels, each controlled by a kbs48101x controller with a control box made for steering dual controllers/motors and using a single speed throttle. I need to program the controllers for 48V. Maybe max speed and some more.

Regards Staffan
